Unlike other social media sites of its ilk, it has never chained itself to advertisers for money, and even after 25 years it still holds up as a safe haven for artists from all walks of life to express themselves, without fear of their content being needlessly censored for not being "advertiser-friendly" or whatever else. Plus I used to play a lot of games on it when I was younger so I've always had fond memories of it.

In all seriousness I'll try my best not to be. I like to consider myself someone who cares deeply about the ability for artists and other content creators to produce whatever they want to see without being censored by the big man, and it just really angers me to see the one place specifically designed for them - the internet - to be slowly turned into yet another bureaucratic tank. So if I come as overly-edgy in my posts, hopefully that explains why. I will try my best to be tame though; I too do not appreciate bloggers who swear every two words.
